About US
St Andrew's Parish Church is the Church of Scotland Church which serves the town centre and west of the County town of Ayr, Scotland. Ayr, St Andrew’s Church is a church for the whole family where everyone is welcome, everyone is valued and everyone is precious to God. We are a church family, first and foremost, desiring to build relationships: relationship with God, relationships with each other and a relationship with you, as, together, we look forward to meeting and welcoming you into this special family.
We have a passion to make Jesus famous as we develop our faith in him and let God’s spirit lead and direct our engagement within the community.
Worship is normally held each Sunday at 11.00am with the members of Club Sunday joining with the adults for the first part of the service before continuing to meet in the halls. On the first Saturday of each month we usually hold Messy Church from 4.30-6.30pm where the church family engages in crafts, praise, games, socialising and interacting with a biblical theme. The activities conclude in the sharing of a meal.
Our organisations cater for people of all ages and are run by caring and capable officers and leaders.
In May 2020, Rev Stanley Okeke was inducted to the charge of St Andrew's Church, Ayr.

History St Andrew's Church - War Memorial Booklet Each year, on remembrance Sunday, we lay a wreath at the communion table in memory of the young men of St Andrew's who died serving our country. But do we really know who they are, or anything about them? This a well-researched but brief account of their short lives. The booklet, consisting of twelve pages, is available at the rear of the church. The suggested cost is a minimum donation of £3.50. After printing costs are paid, all proceeds will go the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
